U.S. Industrial Pellet Association

The U.S. Industrial Pellet Association is an industry trade group that was co-founded by Enviva LP. As an employee at Enviva, I also handled all of the digital and print marketing for USIPA.

Second Annual Exporting Pellets Conference

The projects for the U.S. Industrial Pellet Association’s Second Annual Exporting Pellets Conference included a full spectrum of publications. In addition, I was responsible for writing and aggregating all of the content and contracting with printers and other vendors to print any artwork within a limited budget. The conference was held in October 2012.

Design work included an on-site schedule booklet, pocket schedule, name badges, posters, e-mail blasts, and even a hotel room key card.

Hotel Key Cards

Hosted at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New Orleans, I worked with the event staff to ensure every guest received a conference-specific key card for their room. The custom key cards, which were less than 50 cents a piece, allowed attendees to begin their conference experience at the moment of check-in.

The cards also included a “Did You Know” fact, which was a theme also included in the conference schedule to share important facts about the industry.

E-Communications

We sent regular emails to promote the conference and drive registration. In addition, we also sent updates to current registrants. I designed the emails to mimic the brand used during the conference to create a consistent experience.  The emails were entirely custom and sent using Constant Contact to track open rates.
